I came across this video last night and loved it. It is filmed beautifully and romantically. It also reminded me that it is time for me to trim my basil plant that has been growing wildly. I personally prefer to use a pestle and mortar to bruise and pound out all the flavors, but the rest are about the same.
It has been growing and growing to the point the pot is about to tip over!
So I snipped off about half its length
Leaves are plucked and nicely packed away in the freezer, ready for pesto anytime!
After the nice haircut, it no longer threatens to capsize, yay!
