If you read my last post, you will know that the sweet potatoes casserole dish I tried making was a fail :( So here is what I did and hopefully, through this, you can do something different and make it a lot more tasty for yourselves:
Peel the sweet potatoes.
I have a feeling perhaps purple ones taste different from the regular orange ones...
After the peel
Slice them into 1 inch chunks
Add smashed garlic, finely diced apples and brown sugar
Cover top with mini marshmallows and bake for about 20 minutes
At least it is a cool looking dish though! I love the deep purple.
